BKC can be used as bactericide and disinfectant for medical and surgical instruments.  It dissociates into cationic active groups in aqueous solution, and has the advantages of clean descaling, emulsification and solubilization.

BKC can be used as a leveling agent for cationic dyes, as well as a bactericide and algaecide for industrial water, as well as a disinfection and anti mildew agent for livestock pens, grain warehouses, silkworm rooms, mushrooms, white fungus and other economic crops.
