Potassium pyrophosphate is the pyrophosphate of potassium, which is a colorless crystal or white powder. It has hygroscopicity in the air. Its properties are similar to sodium pyrophosphate, but its solubility is higher. Soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. Potassium pyrophosphate is mainly used as a cyanide free electroplating agent, industrial and household detergent, especially as a liquid detergent with broad market prospects.
