Product Description

Cocamidopropylamine Oxide is a kind of amphoteric surfactant with great solubility in water and polar organic solutions, when in acid condition it becomes cationic while in alkali condition it turns into nonionic. It performs good in thickening, softening, antistatic, foaming and cleaning. It is mild and low stimulation to skin and hair with good sterilization and biodegradability. Also, when added it can reduce the stimulation of other surfactants in some detergents. It is compatible with anionic, cationic, amphoteric and nonionic surfactants.

Cocamidoproylamine Oxide is widely used in shampoos, shower gels, baby products, facial cleaners, dish washing detergents and hard surface cleaners as viscosity builder and foam booster, which is used in personal care products, P&G also use it in their shampoo formulation. The recommended dosage is 0.5%20%.
